Lyonshall Parish Council

We hope to see local residents and hear your ideas.

Lyonshall Parish Council is made up of ten Parish Councillors who are elected every four years.

The role of the Parish Council is to improve the quality of community life for the Parish and its inhabitants. The Parish Council can give views on behalf of its parishioners on planning applications and other proposals that affect the parish, undertake projects and schemes that benefit local residents and work in partnership with other bodies to achieve benefits for the parish. The Parish Council can also alert relevant authorities to problems that arise or work that needs to be undertaken.

The Parish Council liaises with Herefordshire Council and works closely with Balfour Beatty and Arrow Ward Councillor Roger Phillips. If you have any concerns relating to the parish, or wish to have an item added to the next agenda, please contact the clerk or any Parish Councillor.

Parish Council meetings are normally held on the second Thursday of every month, except in August.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and have the opportunity to speak on any agenda items at the start of the meeting. Agendas for each meeting are published on parish noticeboards and this website 3 working days before the meeting.
